Want a go-to place to get ideas on books to add to yourreading list? Then check out Chills and Thrills Monthly, a site that provides alist of horror, mystery, and thriller ebooks “to help readers discover newauthors through ones they already love.” A new collection will be posted eachmonth.
So far the site features the works of five authors: RussellBlake, T.W. Brown, Scott Nicholson, Daniel Pyle, and J. Thorn. Another writer, BillieSue Mosiman, has already been added to the group; look for some of her titlesin the upcoming collection for March. When asked about plans for the site’s future,Thorn said that a few more writers may be added as regulars in the months tofollow, but the plan is to keep the site “streamlined and uncluttered forreaders.” The site is exactly that: a presentation of book covers with handylinks to Amazon for purchasing, no reviews, and no sales pitches.
The titles of greatest interest for Z&T followers fromFebruary’s list are T.W. Brown’s Dead:Siege & Survival and Zomblog:Snoe, but the novels devoid of zombies are worth checking out, too. The twistedvillains, secret experiments, dark fantasy, and super-assassins that fill thepages of the other authors’ books are sure to please those looking for—youguessed it—chills and thrills.
